BENEFITS

We understand how important benefit programs are to our employees, and we are committed to providing high quality and competitive benefits. Benefit coverage is effective upon an eligible employee's first day of employment.

Medical

J. M. Waller offers a PPO through Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield which offers 100% for in-network services after deductible; 70% for out of network services after deductible. The plan also includes vision care and a prescription plan.

Employer-Sponsored Health Reimbursement Account

Enrollment into the Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield medical plan includes enrollment in the Employer-Sponsored Health Reimbursement Account (HRA). $1,000 is deposited into individual accounts and $2,000 is deposited into family accounts on a prorated basis. Funds from the HRA may be used to pay for any qualified health expense that is not covered under the J.M. Waller health plans, including payment of the deductible.

Dental

Offered through Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, this plan includes: 100% Preventative coverage; 80% Basic coverage after deductible; 50% Major coverage after deductible and 50% coverage for Child Orthodontia (up to lifetime maximum).

Vision

A voluntary vision benefit is provided through Vision Service Plan (VSP). This plan allows for an eye exam and glasses and/or contacts annually.

Flexible Spending

Employees may set aside up to $2,500 annually for health care and up to $5,000 annually for dependent care on a tax deferred basis for reimbursement of qualified expenses.

Qualified Transportation Expense Plan

Employees may pay for all or part of work-related transportation costs on a pre-tax basis. Up to $240 in parking expenses and $125 in mass transit/commuter highway vehicle (ex: van pool) expenses. These maximums are subject to change based on federal guidelines.

Life Insurance

J. M. Waller employees receive Life Insurance coverage up to a maximum of $100,000. Voluntary life insurance may be purchased at an additional cost.

Short-Term Disability

STD replaces 70% of weekly salary up to $1,200 weekly for up to 26 weeks immediately after a disabling accident and 7 days after a disabling illness.

Long-Term Disability

LTD replaces 60% of weekly salary up to $5,000 per month until you return to work or turn 65. Waiting period is six months.

Retirement Plan

J. M. Waller offers a traditional 401(k) and Roth 401(k) through Putnam Investments.

Employee Assistance Program

This benefit is provided to all eligible employees at no cost and offers confidential counseling and online tools and resources to help employees and their families with every-day life challenges.

Personal Time Off:

Personal Time Off (PTO) leave is accrued per pay period according to the following schedule:

1st & 2nd year accrue 12 days (96 hours)
3rd & 4th year accrue 15 days (120 hours)
5th to 9th year accrue 17 days (136 hours)
10th year + accrue 22 days (176 hours)

Equivalent of one year's accrual may be carried over into next calendar year.

Holidays

J. M. Waller observes 10 paid holidays per year.
